Welcome to Year 3!
5th September 2022
Welcome back to school and welcome to Year 3! I hope you have all had a wonderful summer and feel rested and relaxed ready for the term ahead. Our first topic is the Romans and we look forward to learning a lot about this exciting topic. Our Guided Reading book is Romans on the Rampage will hopefully enthuse the children.
It has been wonderful to see all of the children back in school and to see how happy they have been to see their friends. I know that we are going to have a wonderful time together in Year 3 and I am looking forward to sharing this journey with them.
Year 3/4 football festival 18.10.22
End of term 1
The children have had a brilliant first term in year 3. They have settled into KS2 life really well. They have learnt a lot about the Romans and have enjoyed making mosaics. In Science they've carried out experiments involving light and dark and in RE have learnt about Hinduism. They have also been learning to play the recorder which has been brilliant fun.
I hope they all have a restful half term and come back ready for Term 2.
