Remembrance
For Remembrance day, year 5 visited the war memorial where we paid our respects through a 2-minute silence and singing a song. We then came back and wrote about how it made us feel during our visit. We also explored the history of Salisbury in World War II and looked into the 'Secret Spitfires!' We wrote poppy poems and painted our own spitfires.
