Remote Learning First Day-off Pack
Hello!
I’m sorry that you can’t be at school today. Here is your work for today, I hope you enjoy the tasks and I am very much looking forward to seeing how you get on. Please upload your work to Seesaw.
English: Have a look at the picture below. I would like you to look at it carefully and use it to inspire one of the following: a creative story, a character description or a letter.
Maths: Please log-on to Mathletics and use today as an opportunity to recap any of the activities from either the place value, addition or subtraction units. I would like you to spend 30 minutes practising your maths skills – I wonder how many points you will be able to earn.
Reading: Today I would like you to concentrate on reading with expression. I would love you to use Seesaw to record yourself reading part of a book (either your school book or a favourite book from home). I can’t wait to hear from you.
Science: I would like to know about your favourite animal. Please make an information poster all about it. Remember to include its habitat, what it eats and what makes it special.
