Maths Workshops

In November each class held maths workshops to parents.

These workshops covered:

• How maths is taught in Winterbourne Earls.

• The importance of the process from concreteto pictorial to abstract.

• The importance of reasoning and problem solving.

• A chance for parents to work with their child in a maths lesson.

• Topics relevant to their year group.
