‘As each one does their part, we grow in love’

Science

SCIENCE WEEK - SPACE: Science Week has brought a whole host of excitement. One task was for us to create rockets using paper and straws and then compete against each other in distance when propelled into the air! As well as this, Year 5 got the opportunity to sit inside a Wonderdome to see the planets up close and learn some incredible facts about them! Did you know, Jupiter's recognisable big spot is a huge storm that is the size of 2 Earths?!

In Science this term, we are learning about 'animals including humans', our first task was to try and guess the animal on our back by asking only 'Yes' or 'No' questions. We learned if our animals were nocturnal or diurnal, if they were mammals, amphibians or reptiles and which parts of the world they might live in.
