Clerk to Governors
The Governors of Winterbourne Earls CE Primary School, wish to appoint an experienced administrator in the post of Clerk to Governors. We are looking for an individual with excellent organisational skills and proven administrative ability. In this part-time role the Clerk is responsible for: convening and attending meetings of the governing body; taking minutes; keeping a register of governing body members and attendance; keeping a track of membership; giving advice and support on relevant procedures and regulations.

Flexibility and being able to work at home under your own initiative are essential parts of the job as you will be managing deadlines and updating and keeping accurate written and electronic records.
It is a requirement of the role that you have access to the internet, a home computer, Microsoft Word (or a compatible application) and a printer. Whilst much of the work can be completed from home, attendance at school is normally required for meetings. A key part of your role will be the ability to remain impartial, comply with data protection legislation and maintain confidentiality.

Hours of work: Part Time: paid at 2 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
