We were very lucky today to be visted by a teacher from South Wilts Grammar school maths department who came in to complete a 'Problem solving' lessons with Y4.
The children worked through a range of problems with a partner and were keen to show off their skills to our visitor before she went back to teach her Year 13 class!!
On Tuesday, we started the new half term by visiting the Salisbury Museum and the Old Sarum Iron age Hill fort site. After a quick stop at the cathedral to take a photo, we headed to the museum to explore their range of Stone age and Iron age artefacts with the education team. We then toured the museum exhibits and learnt about the story of the Amesbury Archer and how the discovery in 2002 was so significant.
Y3 and Y4 have been working very hard together on a Thursday afternoon during their music lessons. We are currently learning all of the songs and actions for the songs for the 'Stonehenge the musical' show we will be taking part in during July at Stonehenge school.
Yea 4 had a fantastic trip to Charmouth today exploring the Jurassic Coastline.
