On Friday Y4 spent the morning working with Richard from 'The Stay Safe Initiative' all about online safety. We explored the positive impact of having an online life, the safe and appropriate use of apps and games online, and the communication we have with others online.
IN the afternoon we welcomed parents to listen to Richard and to join in with some important conversations with their children about their online lives.
It has been lovely to see so many costumes for today's World Book Day! Here is a few from the day!
Our first few days of the new term were filled with Biscuits!
We tasted a range of biscuit products and critiqued them, before making our own biscuits! Thank you to Mrs Hill in the Kitchen for cooking them for us!
Y4 had a brilliant time at The Living Rainforest' on Friday! The children were fascinated by the plants and animals surrounding them and the words 'Wow, look at this!' were the words of the day!
The children had guided tours by the centre's knowledgeable guides and explored everything 'adaptatation and habitat' that there was to find. We spent a very long time exploring, looking and being curious - I think the children could have stayed for hours!
A great trip.
Y4 had a great first day back. They were thrilled to be able to watch the panto 'Sleeping beauty' this afternoon. They even enjoyed the staff danceoff!
