Science

Science Week tied in really well with our 'Properties of Materials' unit in Science. Y5 investigated 'ice hands' and learned all about what makes a good thermal insulator. They were first tasked with attempting to melt a finger as quickly as they could. For the rest of the day, they had to decide on the best environment for the palm to ensure it melted as slowly as possible!
