End of Summer 2!
Year 5 has had a whirlwind of a last term - we have sailed across the North Atlantic and learnt all about the Titanic and why people choose to travel. We have loved exploring all different aspects of this event: the materials used for construction, the reason for so many lives lost, and the changes that were made as a result of the disaster. Building on this, Year 5 have enjoyed a trip to the SeaCity Museum in Southampton (travelling by train!), a Titanic dress-up day, a South Wilts Grammar School science session and so much more. What a crazy term to end an amazing year!!
