School Lunches

 

After Easter 2026 all school lunches have to be booked AT LEAST 7 days in advance on Arbor. It cannot be done on the day or within the same week. Booking will be available on Arbor from Thursday 26th March 2026. Please note your account will need to be in credit before you can book a meal if your child is in KS2 (Yrs 3-6)

How to book:

 

1) On your Arbor App/web browser, go to the menu bar and choice Quick Actions. You will see several icons. Chose Meals.

 

2) Look at choices for the term (note new menus from 13th April 2026).

 

3) The first meal of Summer term, will need to be booked by Sunday 5th April 2026.

 

4) With your child, decide what meals they would like for the weeks ahead, making sure you adhere to the 7-day deadline.

 

5) Go on to Arbor and select the meals your child wants. A handy guide for booking meals can be found here

6) Select the Meal choice from the drop down menu.

 

7) IMPORTANT NOTE: In Arbor, the pre booking of meals is essential. If a meal hasn't been pre-booked, we will contact you to provide a packed lunch.

 

Common questions:

If my child currently has packed lunch, can I book a school meal sometimes? 

YES, as long as it has been booked 7 days in advance.

 

Can I change my selection?

YES – up to one week before the meal date. After this time, Arbor will lock.

 

 Can my child change their mind on the day?

NO

 

Can I ask for a different filling in the school choice option?

 No, they are prefilled options and cannot be changed.

 

How often do the menus change? 

The menus are on a 3-week cycle.

 

What happens if the kitchen has to change the menu? 

We will inform parents as soon as possible.

 

How will you ensure a child with dietary requirements is catered for?

As parents you are able to ensure the selection suits your child’s dietary needs. You can find a QR code on the menus to give information on allergens. You can use this information to make appropriate choices for your child.
