I have created this page of useful websites for you to use at home to support your child's learning. Some of them we use in class and others have been recommended to me. If you use other websites that are fun and educational please let me know and I will add their addresses to the list.
http://www.phonicsplay.co.uk/ - we do use this in class; some games are free and others are available if you subscribe.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGeuA4iJ8vI - kids tv 123- a great fun resource. The sound songs are really good but they also do maths and other areas of the curriculum. I use this a lot!
http://www.teachyourmonstertoread.com/ - another really good phonics site. I haven't yet used this in class but I will; the games are good for consolidating sounds and word building.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/shows/alphablocks - a good game here plus clips to watch. For complete episodes go to youtube and type in alphablocks. They are super for sound recognition and blending to make those words.
http://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/5-7-years/counting - another very good site for maths and english; I use it for both.
http://www.crickweb.co.uk/Early-Years.html - maths and english and other areas of the Early Years' curriculum.
